Handspun yarns are yarns that can show irregularities in thickness, alternating thinner parts with larger parts, or can have additions of pearls or beads. The artistic yarns lend themselves to the most varied processes, they can be added to creations in macrame or in weaving, or they can be knitted or crocheted.

They create movement on their own, even without special processes.
